Suge Knight Gets $2.2 Million Bail Revoked; Officially Charged With Murder

Suge Knight Gets $2.2 Million Bail Revoked; Officially Charged With Murder

Suge Knight has been in the headlines for the past week after he was charged with murder after he ran over a man at a movie shoot in Compton, California. His bond was originally set for $2.2 million, but now it has been revoked altogether.

“Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Nicole Nishida explained to the LA Times why the decision was made: “Possible flight risk, three-strike candidate, possible witness intimidation issues and his criminal past.” Knight’s attorney, James E. Blatt, was also quoted on the bail situation, saying, “It was $2.2 million and just a few minutes ago it was changed to ‘no bail.’ I am working now to see what happened.”
Knight is set to go to court tomorrow. Stay tuned for more updates.” (HNHH)
UPDATE: Suge Knight has officially been charged with the murder of Terry Carter.
“Suge Knight has just been charged with murder in the death of his friend, and sources say a videotape will be a key piece of evidence.
The L.A. County D.A. just filed the charges in connection with the death of Terry Carter … who was killed Thursday after Suge ran him over in Compton.”
