Suge Knight has been in the headlines for the past week after he was charged with murder after he ran over a man at a movie shoot in Compton, California. His bond was originally set for $2.2 million, but now it has been revoked altogether.
“Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Nicole Nishida explained to the LA Times why the decision was made: “Possible flight risk, three-strike candidate, possible witness intimidation issues and his criminal past.” Knight’s attorney, James E. Blatt, was also quoted on the bail situation, saying, “It was $2.2 million and just a few minutes ago it was changed to ‘no bail.’ I am working now to see what happened.”UPDATE: Suge Knight has officially been charged with the murder of Terry Carter.
