Premier League

  • 61'
GREAT SAVE BY HEATON!! It's not the best penalty in the world but the Burnley keeper gets down well to his left to push the ball away.
  • 60'
    Penalty save Tom Heaton
  • 60'
    Missed Penalty Dusan Tadic
  • 60'
PENALTY TO SOUTHAMPTON! Bertrand is one-on-one with Boyd and the Burnley man catches the full back as he skips past him. Tadic will take the kick...
  • 58'
That's more like the Southampton we know and love! They put together a neat one-touch move around the edge of the area, but Mane cannot provide the finish on this occasion

56'It's becoming a second half of unforced errors from the visitors. Bertrand fails to control a simple pass to feet along the back line, and cannot prevent the ball from going out for a throw-in.

Goalless so far and it's nothing like the last meeting between the sides. It came in the third round of the FA Cup back in January when Southampton edged a seven-goal thriller at St. Mary's.
  • 52'
The defence sends a long ball over the top looking for Ings, who puts lot of pressure on Fonte. The Saints skipper keeps cool though and is able to clear.
  • 50'
Boyd has been a very strong link for the hosts this afternoon. He gets the better of Bertrand again and his cross finds Arfield at the far post, but Clyne makes a crucial block and the ball goes behind for a corner.
  • 48'
It almost opened up for Boyd there. Burnley's record signing found himself in space and nearly broke into the box before Bertrand recovered to clear the danger.
  • 46'
    Burnley get us back underway!
  • The teams are back out and ready to kick off the second half.
  • There wasn't too much to shout about in that first half. The key moment saw the youngster Hesketh's debut end early after picking up an injury following a crunching challenge from Keane. He was booked earlier on for catching Heaton late.
  • Dyche will be the happier of the two managers at the break, his side have enjoyed better spells with the ball while Koeman's Southampton are only looking a shadow of the side that started the season so far
