• It's been a disappointing opening 45 minutes for Chelsea, who, despite heading into the half-time break 1-0 ahead, have looked far from comfortable. A combination of poor passing in the final third of the pitch and strong defending from Hull has left Costa increasingly isolated in front of goal, whilst, at the other end, sloppy play from Mikel has gifted the visitors with far too many opportunities to break away on quick counter attacks. As it stands, the hosts are set to win all three points, but Steve Bruce's side could easily find their way back into the game if things don't change in the second half.

Oscar is left in acres of space on the left flank, allowing him to steady himself before curling a beautiful cross that finds Hazard in the middle of the penalty area. The Belgian jumps high and unleashes a great header that beats McGregor with ease to make it 1-0 to the league leaders.

  Ivanovic launches a lofted pass over the top of the Hull defence and into the path of Costa, but it's slightly too heavy for the striker, who is unable to get a touch on the ball before El Mohamady clears the danger.

  Ivanovic gets well forward again before beating Meyler and teeing up Willian, who then cuts the ball back to Luis on the edge of the penalty area. The Brazilian elects not to shoot and instead tries to chip a deft ball into the path of Costa, but his attempted pass is overhit and ends up bouncing into the hands of McGregor.
