The Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola, has condemned the inability of the Nigerian government to check the daily loss of over 400,000 barrels oil to oil theft.

He spoke at the public presentation of four books by the National Vice President of the Nigerian Labour Congress, Issa Aremu, where he was the guest of honour.

Harold Henderson, who was appointed by the NFL as an independent arbitrator, said there is no reason to think the suspension was unfair. “He was afforded all the protections and rights to which he is entitled,” Henderson said in a statement, “and I find no basis to vacate or reduce the discipline.”
